Jay has years of experience working as a backcountry guide, climbing instructor, outdoor educator, and as a consultant and gear tester in the outdoor industry. His experiences during those years lead to him being a strong and outspoken advocate for learning outdoor skills, personal preparedness, and experiencing positive personal growth.
