This guy is a bit smaller than the old folding stoves we were familiar with from a few years ago. These are nice and light (not ultralight by any means) but they make really great compact kits. These work great with the smaller cups and pots as well as the larger 1100-1800 ml versions. They do work best out of the wind with smaller pots, but as you already know that is the case for any solid fuel. And for the price they make great emergency kits for vehicles, we keep one of these with a few fuel tabs in the 4Runner in case we need it.
